Wolf Smart Industries (hereinafter “Wolf”) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of its clients and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your information, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data do we collect?
We collect and process the following types of personal data:

Identification and Contact Data: Name, email address and telephone number, collected when you fill in our contact, quote (including the Wolf Smart Home quote generator) or booking forms.

Home Automation Quote Request Data: Type and size of the space, equipment to be controlled, district, town and timeframe, as entered in the Wolf Smart Home quote generator.

Booking Data: Information provided when booking a meeting through our Calendly integration (date, time and purpose of the meeting).

Technical Data: IP address and browser type, logged by the hosting server for security reasons. To limit abuse and automated messages (spam), the forms store the IP address only in encrypted form (hash) and separately log messages blocked as spam. Traffic analytics and advertising measurement tools are only used with your consent (see section 8).

Commercial Data: Information relating to projects, quotes and the history of services provided (e.g. software development, traffic management, automation).
3. Purpose of Processing
We use your data for the following purposes:

Provision of Services: To develop websites and applications, manage marketing campaigns or provide consultancy, as contracted.

Communication with Clients: To respond to quote requests and enquiries sent through the contact form, or to schedule meetings.

Marketing (Optional): To send news about technology, Wolf Smart Industries updates or offers, only if you have given your explicit consent.

4. Sharing Data with Third Parties
Wolf Smart Industries does not sell your data to third parties. However, we may share strictly necessary information with service providers who help us run our business, such as:

Calendly: To manage the scheduling of meetings and calls.

Meta (WhatsApp): Only if you choose to talk to us via WhatsApp.

Google (Google Maps): The map on the contact page is only loaded if you request it.

Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (Meta Pixel): Only if you accept statistics or marketing cookies, to measure the visits and enquiries that reach us through our adverts. Google and Meta may process this data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Hosting and Cloud Services: Technology partners where our systems are hosted, always ensuring appropriate security protocols.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or improper access. Our website uses an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate to ensure that data transmission is encrypted.
6. Retention Period
We keep your data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected:

Contact/Lead Data: Up to 2 years after the last contact, or until you request its deletion.

Invoicing Data: 10 years, as required by Portuguese tax legislation.

8. Cookies
When you visit the websites wolfsmartindustries.pt, wolfsmartindustries.com or smarthome.wolfsmartindustries.pt, we show a notice where you can accept, reject or choose which cookies you want to allow. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and no analytics or advertising is loaded before you make your choice. You can change your mind at any time under Cookie settings, in the site footer; when you withdraw your consent, we delete the measurement cookies.

We only use the tools in the table that are active on each website; the list in the cookie notice shows which ones they are.
- Third-party content: the Calendly booking calendar and the Google Maps map may use their own cookies. That is why they are only loaded when you click to open them, and each one has a notice next to its button.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy periodically. We recommend that you check this page regularly to stay informed of any changes.
